Residence permits

EU/EEA-citizens have the right to work, study and live in Norway. All EU/EEA citizens that will live in Norway more tha three months must be registered.

Citizens outside of the EU/EEA area that are to work in Norway will need a residence permit.

If you do not have a Norwegian ID-number from previous engagements, an ID-control and application for ID-number and tax card must be carried out. You will also need this information in order to open a bank account and to receive payment as an employee.
